The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) requires each local Workforce Development Board (WDB) representing the Luzerne/Schuylkill Workforce Development Area to develop a four-year Local Plan for Program Years (PY) 2025 – 2028 for the period beginning July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2029. The L/S Local Plan is available to the public for review and/or comment. The L/S Workforce Development Boards hereby announce a 30-day comment period commencing on June 7, 2025, and continuing through July 6, 2025. Any and all interested parties may view the Local Plan on its website at www.lswib.org. Comments may be directed to information@lswib.org.
